Salmon #5: Broiled Salmon with Grapefruit Sauce

In my hunt for new salmon recipes, I have found a number that involve fruit. The combination of salmon and grapefruit was a completely new idea and curiosity about this unusual pairing led me to try it for dinner last night. The verdict?  For the first time this Salmon Challenge, we weren’t fans. There was something about the underlying acidity and bitterness of grapefruit that we thought didn’t go well with the salmon. If you love grapefruit, it might be worth trying (and maybe try this recipe instead of the one I did), but it’s not a repeat for us…
