Ecce sacerdos magnus

Sunday   In 1885, Anton Bruckner completed his motet ’Ecce sacerdos magnus’ for chorus, 3 trombones and organ. Inspired from plainchant It is a work for liturgical use, specifically a sacred composition to accompany the procession of the bishop into the cathedral.  Jeff is a big fan of Bruckner (and organs and brass) and I think the Arnold Schoenberg Choir is marvelous.
