Despite appearances here on the blog suggesting we spent the first two weeks of March here at home as usual (and still working on the kitchen during our spare time), this was not the case. We went on vacation. If there was one piece of advice we kept hearing over and over and over as we prepare for parenthood, it was to take a vacation before the kids came. Even our social worker strongly recommended it. So we went to Hawaii. And we had a great time. I didn’t blog about while we were gone because, well, I was on vacation! Here is some of what we saw.

  1. One of these years I’m going to see plumeria flowers for myself. I’m glad you had a good holiday before your life changes!

    • The plumeria were really beautiful and smelled amazing! When I think of Hawaii now, I will think of plumeria and hibiscus.
