Te Deum

Sunday  For good reason, fanfare isn’t a regular part of church music these days. Every once in a while, however, it’s a fun change. Ēriks Ešenvalds’ Trinity Te Deum, sung here by Trinity College Choir at Cambridge, is a wonderful piece.

  1. I agree, it is a wonderful setting of this text. Another ‘fun fact’ is that I heard this choir this summer in London, ON at the RCCO convention. A few familiar faces and conductor the same – notice the red pencil he uses for conducting! It is always this way apparently. We billeted one of the singers (who wasn’t part of this video) and he gave us a few more ‘fun facts’ about the experience!!!!
